Ben je in aanraking gekomen met ByMetis<\/a> of TerminationExperts<\/a>? Hopelijk niet, want we worden overspoeld met klachten over hen. Consumenten voelen zich misleid <\/strong>en opgelicht<\/strong>. Na onderzoek blijkt dat deze partijen niet aan hun proefstuk toe zijn en er veelvuldig over hen wordt gewaarschuwd<\/strong>. Hier een overzicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie zijn de eigenaars?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Al deze websites zijn eigendom van Yves D.<\/a>, Jesse V.<\/a> en Wouter P.<\/a> Ze zijn ook actief als oprichters van De Codeerschool<\/a> en Het Codeerbedrijf<\/a> (nu Lemonlabs<\/a>). Opvallend is dat ze hun opzegwebsites nergens vermelden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ze gebruiken regelmatig nieuwe BV’s (Rocketmen BV, Metis BV en Pluto BV) maar de oprichters zijn steeds dezelfde<\/strong>:

Slechte reviews, negatieve pers, veroordeling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Waarom steeds een nieuw bedrijf, een nieuwe naam en een nieuwe website? Mogelijk om de slechte recensies en negatieve pers te ontlopen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het TV-programma KASSA <\/strong>waarschuwde in een uitzending voor opzeggenbij.nl1<\/a><\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n\n

De Nederlandse Consumentenbond <\/strong>schreef2<\/a><\/sup>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Opzeggenbij.nl is onduidelijk <\/strong>over het aanbod, de prijs en de bedenktijd. Ondanks kritiek weigeren <\/strong>de bedrijven consumenten goed te informeren.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

De Oostenrijkse consumentenorganisatie <\/strong>Watchlist Internet<\/em> adviseerde simpelweg: niet betalen3<\/a><\/sup>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Betaal niets<\/strong>. Er bestaat geen geldig<\/strong> contract met stornierenbei.de.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Finaal zijn ze recent in Duitsland bij verstek veroordeeld<\/strong>4<\/a><\/sup>. Lees het volledige vonnis van de rechtbank in Stuttgart hier<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weinig verbetering<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Helaas zien we weinig verbetering bij de nieuwste websites. Consumenten voelen zich nog steeds bedrogen<\/strong> door ByMetis, omdat ze niet op de hoogte waren van de kosten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit wordt in de hand gewerkt doordat men niet vooraf hoeft te betalen en geen tijdige orderbevestiging krijgt – dit kan tot een week duren. Nog zo iets wat moet van de wet.5<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als je niet betaalt, dreigen <\/strong>ze de vordering over te dragen aan een extern incassobureau en dat de kosten kunnen oplopen tot 500EUR. Maar het ‘incassobureau’ gerechtsbode.nl<\/a> blijkt – geen grap – weer een bedrijfje van dezelfde <\/strong>‘ondernemers’ te zijn6<\/a><\/sup>. Zo is de cirkel rond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onze oproep<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We roepen ByMetis<\/a> en TerminationExperts<\/a> op om hun praktijken te veranderen. We eisen dat ze duidelijk <\/strong>zijn over hun aanbod en prijs, zodat consumenten zich niet meer misleid voelen. We verzoeken hen hun websites zo in te richten dat klanten vooraf <\/strong>kunnen betalen en ervoor te zorgen dat zij voldoende ge\u00efnformeerd zijn over hun dienstverlening en de kosten daarvan. Zo simpel is het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
